Hi there Faber-Castell Peeps!! I hope you are enjoying a glorious spring!! I know that here in Atlanta we are in full swing of trees, flowers and everything blooming!
Hi everyone, it's Vicky here today and I am sharing a unique art journal layout. A totaly different style, more on the graphic side. It was super easy and fast to achieve by mixing and matching different Faber Castell mediums. Here is a closer look
I just love that matte finish of the chalkboard paint! You can watch a how-to video below

Thank you for joining me today!
I have a new addiction and it's the fabulous Paper Crafter Crayons! These crayons are so highly pigmented and so strong that I love that I can press as hard as I want and it does not break inside the barrel!
One of my favorite techniques is using the crayons as a resist medium which is what I did here.
Hello, Olga Siedlecka here. Do you love art journaling? I do love and every once in the while I have to transcribe my emotions onto papier. Since my last art journal burst at the seams I decided to try out the Faber-Castell one. It is dedicated to all media and I came to the grips with four out of the eight mentioned techniques: texturing, painting, collage and embellishing.
Hi Faber-Castell Fans - Karen here again!! I had SO much fun playing with the Faber-Castell Chalkboard Paint and PITT® Pastel Pencils - it was one of those projects that just worked from the start and I loved the finish!
My first thought was to create the house with just the PITT® Pastel Pencils because they work SO well on the chalkboard paint, but I thought I would mix it up and add some paper to the mix!!
Hi Faber-Castell Peeps!! It’s me, Karen, here again to show you what I love about my Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft pens and crafter crayons! I may not be the best at sketching and drawing, but I love to cut and tear paper into shapes to make projects.
This week, I sketched a sailboat and cut it out of some of book paper and then my favorite scrapbook paper. I glued the pieces down to my canvas with Faber-Castell Gel Medium, sealed the whole thing with Gel medium, and let it dry. What I love about using gel medium is the fact that it isn’t sticky like glue. I also love that when I am working on my finishes, I can actually ‘erase’ pen marks for a little bit since they sit on top of the medium and dry a little bit slower!
Hello, Olga Siedlecka here. I feel more than honoured to be here and I’m so exited to share with you my first project prepared as a Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® guest designer. I’m a addicted to a joined smell of coffee, cookies and a fresh magazine. I always cherish such moments of relaxation as a sheer pleasure. Moreover, I usually find flicking through fashion pages very inspiring. I also look upon each and every color magazine as if it were first and foremost my source of illustrations and texts to be used afterwards. This time I decided to the mixed media portrait using wonderful Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® media.
Hi everyone Beck Beattie again here sharing another Scrapbook page to inspire you with yummy Faber-Castell® Design Memory Crafts® products.
I have really been enjoying exploring the mix and match system working with differnet products that work just so well together. Today I'm really featuring the use of Gelatos and how you can add LOADS of colour into your projects using thes nifty sticks of colour goodness.
While going through my photos trying to find that 'perfect' photo, I came across this pic of friends' girls from when we went duck feeding with all the kids one day. I love how sweet the photo is and can't wait to Scrapbook it a second time so I can gift them one each.
Here is a video so that you can see how the background is created, and the layout comes together, while learning some techniques along the way.
I have to apologise for the occassional video shaking as my new camera set up just wasnt working, but I really wanted to show all the techniques so left it in.
For today's project I have used:
Faber-Castell® Design Memory Crafts® Gelatos in Cotton Candy, Bubble Gum and Metallic Mint
Faber-Castell® Design Memory Crafts® Whipped Spackle
Faber-Castell® Design Memory Crafts® Gesso
Faber-Castell® Design Memory Crafts® Glaze
I have teamed these up with the following Spellbinders® dies:
Gold Facets, Gold Majesty Circles, Standard Circles Small and Lacey Circles.
I have also used paper by Heidi Swapp, Bazzill Card Shoppe cardstock, flowers from Kaisercraft and Manor House Creations, lace from Prima Marketing, sticker word from Jillibean Soup and tiny twine from Craft Queen.
I'd love to see you adding some colour into your projects, and please share with us on the Design Memory Crafts Facebook page here. I'd LOVE to see what you create!
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hi everyone! It's Vicky here and this is my first post as a guest designer at the Design Memory Craft blog! I have created an art journal page using mainly Gelatos® and PITT® artist pens.
Hi everyone Beck Beattie here with my first Guest Design Team post and I am so very excited to be shaing with you today!
When I got my package of yummy products to play with I just couldn't wait to get started. I have always loved products by Faber-Castell and the new collection of yummy products released recently at CHA are just DIVINE to work with!
Today I am sharing a mixed media Scrapbook page I created of my little boy on his birthday.
I had so much fun mixing it all up with the different items in there that I created a video to show you how I used the various Faber-Castell® products together.
These products are designed to work well with each other as I have done on this layout. Why not give it a go to mix things up a little and share with us on the Design Memory Crafts Facebook page here. I'd LOVE to see what you create!
Thanks so much for stopping by.
