Fall Pumpkin with Gelatos

Hi everyone, Mou here with a mixed media pumpkin tutorial using Gelatos®! Get out your Gelatos® and follow along to see how I made the pumpkin above.

Supplies:

Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Gelatos colors: Mango, Banana, Lemon,  Margarita Mix, Green Tea, Cherry, Black Licorice, Chocolate, Cinnamon

Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Stamper's Big Brush 3 Ct Red

Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Textural Accents: Whipped Spackle, Gesso, 102 Stencil Collection, Gelatos Tool Kit

Other: Watercolor paper, pencil

Lightly sketch a pumpkin on watercolor paper with pencil. Color in with  Gelatos colors Lemon, Banana, Mango, Cinnamon and Chocolate as shown.

Blend the colors with Gesso.

Color around the pumpkin with Gelatos colors Margarita Mix and Green Tea.

Lay a stencil from 102 Stencil Collection over the pumpkin and apply Whipped Spackle with Palette knife. Shift the stencil a bit and repeat in a different area of the pumpkin.

Apply more Gelatos colors to the background and the pumpkin through stencils.

Also make marks on the pumpkin with Stamper's big Brush pens.

Make more marks in and around the pumpkin. Drip some Black Licorice Gelatos color down the pumpkin.

Write pumpkin in brush lettering style with Stamper's Big Brush pens to finish.
