Hello creatives, Rita Barakat here today with a little welcome sign!
When I saw the new Scandinavian stencil released at CHA I immediately knew I needed to use this sweet little tea cup!
Of course using the brand new cement texture paste and Gelatos® was in order as well! I think this would be fun in a kitchen don't you?
Well grab your supplies and let's get started!
I started with a blank canvas and tracing the outside shape of the tea cup. Remove the stencil and connect the lines.
I used Margarita Mix , Boysenberry and Metallic Mint to color my canvas. I outlined the tea cup shape with a PITT artist pen.
Take a little bit of Metallic Mint and Boysenberry Gelatos® smash up and mixed them with Cement Texture Paste to create the teal color paste.
Place the stencil over the tea cup - make sure it lines up with the tea cup and spread the paste over the stencil. Carefully lift the stencil off to reveal the design underneath. *Make sure to clean off the spatula right away and don't get this on your clothes!
Once it dries outline and add your "welcome" letters! You can do this!
When creating, do you make home decor items?
