Hi Everyone
I can't believe this is my penultimate post for this seasons Guest Design Team. Time definitely flies when you are having fun and I have definitely had fun. Todays tutorial was inspired by my first tutorial when I noticed that the pocket pages in my Christmas Album were a perfect fit for my new Faber- Castell Design Memory Craft® stencils. I thought it would be a pretty project as well as a functional one. I know you are all just like me trying to find storage solutions that work and if they look good too….yay!!!
Although this mini album is constructed in the same way as the Christmas Album there are differences in the page construction to create all the pockets you will need to make to store your stencils. You can adapt the pocket and album sizes given below to suit other stencils you may have in your collection.
The video tutorial will show you a lovely way to mix and match your Gelatos®, PITT® Big Brush Artist Pens and Gesso to achieve the pretty textured look for the cover of the album and I show you two ways to use your stencils to further embellish your album. I know I am going to use these techniques again and again and I hope you will too.
The video is an hour long as this is a time consuming project that I filmed over several days. But don't forget you can pause me as many times as you like as you make a mini album of your own. I won't mind a bit ;-) I thought it might also be a nice album to preserve those special birthday cards we all like to treasure. Just pop them into the pockets and you can still take them out to admire them but keep them safe inside the covers of the album when you are not. I hope you enjoy the tutorial.

Hi, my name is Helen and I love to share my crafting journey on my blog, ‘The Craft Project’ and for the past few of years on my YouTube Channel. I am at my happiest when designing lovely projects to teach to other crafters. As well as sharing my tutorials on YouTube I also sell online workshops for larger projects from my ETSY shop. I am thrilled to have this wonderful chance to be part of the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® Guest Design team and to share projects with you all. Some of you that know me will know I am also part of the Rubber Dance Design Team (a Norwegian Stamp company). I am very lucky to have a very supportive and understanding family, a husband and two sons who always cheer me on in my creative adventures even when their tea is late!……oh, and I mustn’t forget our huge golden retriever Comet who likes to try to scare off the postman when he brings me happy crafting mail!!!
Love watching you work Helen. Thanks bunches for another wonderful tutorial video. This project is SUPER. GORGEOUS cover. j.

I've been searching your YouTube tutorials & subsequently searching your blog.
I'm VERY frustrated because I can't find your "supply list/s" for your projects.
Why is that?
