Hi, Artsy Friends! I had to opportunity to go to an all weekend scrapbooking retreat this past weekend and had a blast creating, eating, and laughing! I had the photos from my trip to the Faber-Castell warehouse and had been meaning to scrap it. It was two years ago... see how long it takes me to get photos done? I had so much fun looking around their warehouse and offices.
So, I wanted my page to be as artsy and fun as the trip was! I started with a piece of patterned paper that looked like I scribbled on it with colored pencils (I didn't! It came that way!) and used a palette knife to smear Texture Luxe™ from the Mixed Media Kit. I used one of our Mixed Media stencils from the kit, that I had used in a demo that weekend and was covered in mediums, Gelatos® colors in Tropical, and dried. I just pressed the stencil into the wet Texture Luxe™.
See all that yummy medium and color on that stencil? I just couldn't waste it so I used it on a page! These stencils are perfect for all mediums but also perfect for use in projects themselves! I'd love to see what you do with our Mixed Media Kit in Tropical!
Materials List:
Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Mixed Media Tropical Kit
Gelatos® colors in Orange Soda and Limoncello
