Art Journaling month with Rita Part 2

Hey there artsy peeps Rita Barakat here on week 2 of art journaling month! Today we are also collaborating with Stampendous! So last week I started my art journal project by adding textures to my art journal boards. This one started with silver Texture Luxe™  and a stencil.

Today I am working with metallic Gelatos® Colors ~ Gold Champagne, Iced Rose and Iced Blueberry. When the Texture Luxe™  is completely dry you can color it with Gelatos® Colors  and change it up a bit! 3
I draw right on the board and blend the colors with dry sponge.

I use a Stamper’s Big Brush Pen (s) and Stampendous' NK Studio FIesta stamp to make texture designs on my project.

With the Stampers Big Brush Pens you don't have worry if you want to continue to add more layers - they dry quickly and once it's dry you can wet it and it wont smudge, they are filled with India Ink!

I used a pretty thick layer of Gelatos® Colors so I took a baby wipe to remove some of that color and then added a sentiment with another Stampendous  sentiment stamp.

So much yumminess on one spread! I absolutely love my Gelatos and I'm sure I need those metallics! The texture from the Texture Luxe is amazing and I do like that you can change the color if you choose. Stampendous and Faber-Castell work so nicely together!
