An art journal page & the winners of May Take the Challenge with Mou (and the winners of the blog hop)

Hi everyone, Mou here with today's post.

It's an art journal page about drowning negative noises around us.

I used:

Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® Textural Accents: Gesso, Gel Medium, Whipped Spackle, Texture Gems™ 3ct Metallics

Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Designing with Gelatos® Kit

Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Gelatos Mist Maker Set

Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Mixed Media Stencils 101 collection: Dots

Others: Sizzix Bird Silhouette die; die-cutting system; art journal, patterned paper, book paper, stamp

Let me walk you through the steps of creating this page.

Color the page with Gelatos colors from the Designing with Gelatos® Kit. Blend colors with gesso.

Attach diecut bird to page with gel medium.

Color the floral foam stamp from the kit and mist it with water. stamp on the page.

Color rubber stamps with Gelatos colors and stamp on the page.

Apply Whipped Spackle through Dots stencil as shown. Let dry.

Cut chosen text from old book paper. attach to page with gel medium.

Cut off a small section of bubblegum Gelatos into the mister included in the kit. Crush it with the back of the paint brush. Add water. Shake to mix. Mist the section of the page above the bird. let some wet mist drip down the page.

Embellish the bird by adding small dots along the outline of the bird to finish the page.
