Valentine Treat Bag + Video with Rachel Kleinman

Good morning lovely artistic and creative friends. This is Rachel here today and I'm so sad that this is my last Faber Castell® Design Memory Craft® post as a Guest Designer. The past 4 months have been so inspiring, and have pushed me creatively. I wish it didn't have to end! Thank you Naoko and the team for making this an awesome experience!

With February just around the corner, it's time to get moving on those Valentine's Day projects! Today I'm sharing a sweet Valentine treat bag, perfect for filling up with candies or love notes ;)

 

I started by die cutting the goodie bag from a heavy weight cardstock and covered it with Design Memory Craft Gesso. The Gelatos® work so smoothly on the gesso'd surface, so I was able to get a nice blend of my orange and pink colors in Gelato Double Scoop Mango, Gelato Double Scoop Bubble Gum, Gelato Guava, and Gelato Gold Champagne.

 

 

I stamped the heart image using my permanent Stamper's Big Brush Pen in Cold Grey. I coated some of the hearts with Glaze and let it dry completely. The Glaze lets me blend my other PITT® Pens really easily to create the red and pink hearts.

I stamped the sentiment with my Stamper's Big Brush Pen in Black on vellum (remember, it's permanent, and it stamped great on vellum!).
