Moments Canvas by Shilpa

IMG_3763

Hello Everyone, Shilpa here, with my last post of Fall/winter 2014 at Faber-Castell® Design Memory Craft®. Today I've layered heart canvas to share with you.

Let's see how I made this........

First layer onto the canvas and paper with Gesso. I absolutely love this Design Memory Craft Gesso, it spreads evenly and dries fast, so we can start working on our second layer. It is a primer for any art work.

I scribbled Mint Metalic Gelatos® Double Scoop on the paper, spritzed water so color activates and then spread it over with brush.

I am creating my own background paper here. I stamped text with rubber stamp and the Black Stamper's Big Brush Pen.

I cut the paper in squares and rectangles and attached them onto my canvas with Gel Medium.

I had to create layers of heart, so I colored another paper with Red cherry Gelatos Double Scoop.  Diecut the heart from them and from Vellum as well.

I stamped text on Diecut Heart and flowers Vellum with Black  Stampers Big Brush Pen and text stamp.

Here you will see, how I've layered hearts. On the background canvas, I applied Butterscotch Gelotos around squares. I made bottle marks with black Stamper's Big Brush Pen, which is India archival ink. I wanted to bring red color from heart on the background as well,  so I made butterflies with stencil and Red cherry Gelatos. After diluting red Gelatos with water, I could make some fun spaltters.

All white embellishments are colored with Coconut Gelatos. Lastly I applied Red cherry Gelatos on all edges of canvas. After arranging all embellishments, my canvas was ready!!

Hope you liked it!! Do let me know....

Thanks for all wonderful support from you all!!
