Using a little chipboard mini I started with my drawing on a gesso background. I colored it with Gelatos®Colors and PITT® Artist Pens, then I used painters tape to protect my art. I used a Clover mini iron (for quilting) to melt the Paper Crafter Crayons (tm) and wipe the melted crayons onto the chipboard. I added a lot to the top then used a heat gun to make the thicker areas drip onto the umbrella. Here are a couple of close ups! What is nice about this process is you can continue to add color and even wipe some away by melting and wiping the iron with a paper towel. Here is a last look! Such a fun technique - it's hard not to get hooked on Paper Crafter Crayons(tm)! What will you create?
