Hi, Madoka here.
I'd like to share the way of making orginal paper using the products of Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft®.
This is the layout of "Tanabata".
"Tanabata" is a Japanese Star Festival that celebrates the meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi.
According to legend, the Milky Way separates these lovers, and they are allowed to meet only once a year on July 7th on the Milky Way.
In Japan people generally celebrate this day by writing the wishes on "Tanzaku" which is small pieces of paper and hanging them on bamboo trees with other decorations.
The bamboo trees with decorations are colorful and very beautiful.
And this event is full of many hopes and dreams.
So I tried to express that dreamy atmosphere.
1.painted a white cardstock with Gesso and dried it.
2. I dissolved Gelatos® with water on a palette and took it with my finger and added colors to the paper.
While sometimes spraying water, I extended colors on the whole of the paper and made gradation.
3. Mixed Whipped Spackle and Glass Bead Glitter Gel.
And made the texture with it and stencil.
4. I splattered on the paper using Gesso which diluted with water.
And I painted with Glass Bead Glitter Gel here and there.
5. I coated surface of the paper with Gel Medium and dried it naturally.
In this way, the gradation becomes more beautiful and the luster comes out.
Thank you for your time.
