Chalkboard Paint! Do you have it? Hi there, Rita Barakat here! Do me a favor, take a have look around your house. Chances are there something there that you can make a whole lot cuter ;) with chalkboard paint! So go get it and lets do a DIY -chalkboard paint
makeover! I had this little clipboard from a .99 cent store that was convenient at the time but not really me. You will have to experiment with your surface to see if you need to cover it first with gesso (slick surface) , mine had a plastic coating that I was able to pull off with a little help from my scissors. Cover your surface and you will probably need at least one more coat. This dries fairly quickly but you can help t along with a heat gun. I wanted to add a little design so I used my Big White Stampers Pen on some beautiful flower stamps from Catherine Scanlon Designs. I colored right on the stamp and transferred my image. I colored the purple with Bistro pens and the pink with a PITT® Pastel Pencil. I would love to see your DIY- chalkboard paint makeover! Leave me a link if you do one!
