Hello! Tatiana Yemelyanenko is here today sharing my first project as a Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® Guest Designer. I’m so excited and honored to be a part of this amazing team. I chose the pictures of the last day of spring. I so love these poppies in the field!
I started with selecting colors of different mediums suitable for picture colors. It’s easy to do using Mix & Match approach from Faber-Castell. I decided to use yellow color.
As base of my layout I used white watercolor paper. Also I cut by hand stripes of paper. I used them as a mask.
I placed one piece of paper on the base and applied Butter Cream Gelato® in a form of wave. Then I smudged color by finger.
I placed another piece of paper and applied Lemon, Mango and Tangerine Gelatos® in the same way.
After my background was done I a little blended colors by wet paint brush.
I cut flower stencil on my Silhouette and applied Gel Medium using this stencil and old plastic card.
After texture had completely dried I led around petals with Superfine PITT® Artist Pen and stamped flowers using acrylic stamp from Yellow Gelatos® set.
On the next step I draw circles by using Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils. Then I embellished my layout with Liquid Pearls, placed pieces of patterned paper, pictures and die-cuts on the background to decide which composition I would prefer to use.
I cut a piece of May Arts white ribbon, covered it with Mango and Tangerine Gelatos® and blended colors by water.
I glued pictures and other embellishments and decided to add some pieces of orange May Arts ribbon.
And here is the result.
Supplies:
Gelato® colors: Butter Cream, Lemon, Mango, Tangerine
Gel Medium
Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils Yellow #115, #117, #121
PITT® Artist Pen Superfine
Other products:

The colors really pop. they bring out the colors in the picture, as well as mimicking the fields in the pictures. Great layout.
