Hi! AJ here to share another card using Faber-Castell Design Memory Crafts Gelatos®.
I always tend to lean towards clean and graphic designs when making cards, (or anything really) but I have really loved being able to use these Gelatos® in so many fun ways to create things lately and still keep to my less is more style.
To start, I pulled out the Lemon, Cotton Candy, & Watermelon Gelatos. I smeared a little circle of each color on my working mat, and wet my paintbrush just aa little and worked it around to create a nice wet amount of color to pick up with my brush. I picked up as much color as I could, and then flicked the brush towards my cardstock. (a heads up-my face, and shirt, and other areas of my work space were all matching! ;) have a rag close by.
I repeated this color by color one at a time, going back and adding a little more and turning my cardstock around to different angles so as to have different splatter marks.
When working with the Gelatos- you can add a very small drop of water, and then smear a little more color around creating the amount you want. You can see here how wet it is, this is a perfect consistency to pick up with the brush and splatter everywhere!
I decided I wanted a little contrast, so I added a little Black in along with Metallic Mint- the shimmer from the Metallics is SO awesome- it's one of my most used groups of Gelatos!
