Coloring on Kraft Cardstock

Hello Friends!!

Larissa here to share another Guest Designer Post!! I wanted to share the FUN Technique of coloring on Kraft Cardstock with your Gelatos, Aquarelle Water Color Pencils and the Stamper's Big Brush Markers then adding some highlights with the Pastel Pitt White Pencil!! This is such a GREAT Technique especially if you are afraid to work with water color because you can be a beginner and still get the look of a PRO!! =) I've made a FUN Video to share this technique so I hope you ENJOY it!!

In the mean time though, here are some pictures of my finished project along with the steps on how to create this technique!! I have also showed this technique being used on a couple other surfaces!!

Color your Gelatos and Stamper's Big Brush Markers onto a plate or clear block. Then use your water brush to create a water color. Cover the image with the desired colors.

Next take your Aquarelle Water Color Pencils in a similar shade to the Gelatos or Stampers Big Brush Markers and color the image in on top of that color outlining where you want the most intense color. Then take your water brush and go over the water color pencil shading to blend the color. Finish the entire image repeating these steps until done and then adding your highlights using the Pastel Pitt White Pencil.

The same technique only done on Cream Cardstock.

As I shared in the video and photos above you can use the same steps, techniques I've shared today to color on other surfaces too not just Kraft Cardstock!! Give it a try on your Favorite Stamping Cardstock or on Water Color Paper for a similar effect!! There are so many option let your creativity go and see what you can create!!
