Hi! Jen Matott here as your second blog hop hostess... We teamed up with Little Yellow Bicycle for a fun swap and blog hop! You will see a new project each week and make sure you hop to their blog and facebook page for more chances to win and more inspiration!
Here's my project using papers, stickers, rosettes, doilies and canvas stickers:
It's that time of year when school is letting out and I wanted to make a cute teacher gift! My son's teacher has a heart of gold and has put up with a lot this year... so I wanted to get her a little something. I will be getting a potted flower and putting them in this decorated pot with the flower decorations. So cute!
I used the Naturals and Poppy line from Little Yellow Bicycle. I colored the canvas butterflies with Gelatos with a bit of water to blend.
The adorable canvas designs were colored in with PITT Artist pens! So fun!
Here is a pic of the rosette strips before assembly and the cute papers and die cuts! I got the pot at the dollar store to decorate.
You can see how I assembled the stick and the rosette here. I used Helmar 450 Quickdry adhesive.
Here's another canvas cutie! I had fun coloring this one with PITT artist pens!
Here's how I covered up the tacky flowers on the pot... an awesome chipboard frame with a bit of the paper to back it. I added some stickers for a finishing touch.
Make sure you thank a teacher today!
