Stampers Big Brush Pen Doodled Shoes

Hi everyone! It’s Katie with my last post for Design Memory Craft as part of their guest design team. Soon you will get to see projects from the new guest design team who I’m sure will have some amazing projects to inspire you with!

This project is a fun one. If you love doodling + shoes, you’re going to love it. I doodle on everything and I have recently started drawing on canvas shoes. For this pair I used Stamper Big Brush Pens to draw and color my designs. Here’s how:

Start with a pair of white or cream colored canvas shoes. You can find these fairly inexpensive in most stores. Also grab your Big Brush Pens.

Using a bold black PITT pen, doodle a big black flower on the toe of your shoe, or feel free to think up other designs to doodle.

Using the colored Stampers Big Brush Pens, color in your designs. Pink is my favorite color, so I used complimentary colors like pink, purple, & yellow. It’s so easy to find colors that go well together using Design Memory Craft’s color dot system.

For the rest of the shoe choose a color you like and fill in the blank areas with a pattern like chevrons, polka dots, etc. You could even cover the shoes completely with doodled flowers. But as I said, I like pink so I went with pink chevrons.

The Stampers Big Brush Pens are waterproof when dry, but just to be on the safe side, I also seal my shoes with a waterproofing spray but that’s totally optional!
