Hi everyone! Jill here and I’ve been playing with my Gelatos® and patterned paper to create a fun collaged frame. Beginning with a Faber-Castell Deco Mat, I adhered small torn squares of patterned paper using Gel Medium. Next, I added a bit of Gesso along the edges and between each square. Finally, I colored with coordinating Gelatos® around the perimeter of each square, blending with my finger as I went.
A touch of Gesso here and there finishes the look.
Once complete I sprayed the frame with Krylon Matte Fixative spray. The background paper was painted with a thin layer of Gesso. And the sentiments were printed on the computer and cut out using Sizzix dies. Finally some wooden birds were painted with Gesso and colored around the edges with a Gelato®.
Wishing you happy (and colorful) creating!
