of gift could I give to this girl? A recipe box!
While thinking about the idea of a recipe box for this girl I realized that today we do more reading using devices than we read printed materials. I thought it would be a great gift for her to start her own hand written recipe collection. Kids are not writing by hand much anymore…
This is how the Recipe Box for Young Chefs came to be such a special gift.
I started with an unfinished wood piece found at a craft store. A perfect box to decorate and fill with recipe cards.

Gelatos® Colors: Blue, Butterscotch, Chocolate, Green and Pink.
PITT® artist pens: Dark Chrome Yellow 109***, Phthalo Blue 110***, Chromium
Green Opaque 174***, Blue Metallic 292***, Green Metallic 294***.
Other:
Sharpie marker ultra-fine point, glue gun, glue sticks, Gesso,
craft brush, pencil and eraser, scissors.
