Hi everyone, it's Anita here and I want to share a layout I made using a variety of Faber-Castell® products. I love adding visual texture to my layouts using pens and markers. It is a great way to add a lot of detail without adding a lot of bulk (which is a big problem with me!)
A great way to make a die-cut sticker pop off the page is to simply outline it with a contrasting color as I have done here. I used my Stamper's Big Brush Pen in Cobalt Turquoise around the outside of my die cut and I used my PITT® Artist Pen in Black on the inside.
To really make my chipboard piece standout I laid down swatches of color with my Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils, Gelatos® and PITT® Pastel Pencils. Then I blended them with water for a smooth look. I used my Teal Metal Gelato to make a spray that I used on one end of the chipboard. Last I used my PITT® Artist Pen in black to doodle on it. I covered my alphas with Gelatos and then outlined with black PITT® Artist Pen.
I used Stamper's Big Brush Pens & PITT® Artist Pen's to color the chipboard stars and scroll, journal, and to doodle around the outside of the page.
I have lots of visual interest, but I am still able to get the page into a page protector (and let me tell you, there are a lot of times that I can't) so I am pleased with the result.
