Hi All! I thought I would take a holiday break and make a birthday card. All those December babies still need to be recognized:)
I used the Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils on the cupcakes. So easy… just three pencils – blue, green, and brown. Here is a look at the finished card.
First, I stamped my cupcakes in Versafine Black Onyx ink and colored the shadow areas with the Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils.
Using an Aqua Painter, I just loosened up the color and blended it toward the white areas of the cupcake.
For darker color, I let it dry and repeated the color application.
I squirted some of my Ranger Ice Stickles onto my craft sheet and picked it up with a brush to apply it to the cupcake.
After creating this blue cupcake, I used the same technique to create two green ones. I cut them each out and adhered them to the card base with foam adhesive. The cupcake shadows were created using the same brown Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils and an Aqua Painter.
Finally, I drew an outline using a black marker and my Blue Stamper’s Big Brush Pen.
Thanks so much for visiting my post! To see more of my cards and videos, visit my blog.
