Today, I have a challenge for you. I feel that creative challenges help us experiment and learn new things. Challenges can help us get unstuck from creative ruts. They can also inspire us to create in ways we would not have thought of otherwise. So, I decided to take a few creative challenges myself and thought you might like to play along.
Every month, on the first Monday, I'll post a challenge and my take on it. You'll have 12 days to take this on. Leave a comment to the challenge post with a link to your creation based on that challenge. The following Monday, we will pick TWO winners randomly from among the readers who participated in that week's challenge. And the winners will get a prize from Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft®.
Today's challenge is themed: Christmas Greetings!
Hard to believe that 2012 is already coming to an end and it's time for the Holidays! And Holidays means gifts, greetings, and more... So, here's my Christmas greeting for you all!
Let me show you the steps.
1. Color white cardstock with Red/Yellow Paper Crafter Crayons
2. Emboss the piece and sand it.
3. Color another piece of white cardstock with Blue/Green Paper Crafter Crayons.
4. Draw and cut out holly leaves from it.
5. Attach the pieces to card and stitch. Add beads.
6. Write sentiment 'Merry' with Stamper's Big White Pen.
7. Add highlights with Neutral Paper Crafter Crayons to finish card.
And here's a close up:

Always love your projects! Your card looks awesome! These crayons look really fun to use, and I love the sanding after embossing and then adding the other colors to the raised areas. Hopefully I can come up with a project to share! Thank you for sharing.

Mou, love your challenges... but please please make it at least two weeks, particularly in busy months like December. I finally had time tonight to play and it was too late... sad face:-( Hope to catch it in time in January!
