Hi Everyone! Lesley here. Christmas will be here before you know it! To get ready for this amazing holiday, I decided to share a card that is quick, has a simple design, and will impress! I used three different mediums from Faber-Castell
Design Memory Craft® for this card.
Mix & Match your MEDIUMS!
You can use watercolor pencil on stamps, as well as Gelatos, you can even blend the two mediums together, but you will need to wet them (just a little) to lift up the color. The Metallic PITT® Artist Pens are FANTASTIC too for stamping. I used the gold for my sentiment and it just looks rich!

ps For quick Christmas cards:
1. Make one easy design and mass produce it!
2. Use die cut labels that showcase your stamps and color choices, and do all your die cutting and stamping at the same time. Take the extra time to emboss it. Make your stamping with blended colors for the WOW factor. You get variation in color, yet don't have to spend hours coloring!
4. Use a plain cardstock with just one patterned paper. Choose a simple design with few pieces so that they come together FAST.
6.
Dress up the card with glitter paper, or gems.
7.
Avoid the gems and other bumpy embellishments if you plan to send it in the mail. Use 3D foam to create dimension on your card. Round your corners to add interest at being said, let's make a card!
STEP 1:
Create cards from cardstock, adhere strips of glitter paper and patterned paper, round corners and die cut and emboss labels from white watercolor paper.
STEP 2:
STEP 3:
STEP 4:
Following the line that the embossing created, use your watercolor pencil to make a frame around the label. Take a paint brush and water to create gentle distressing around the snowflake. Let dry.
STEP 5:
Using a metallic PITT pen, color the stamp, then stamp it above the snowflake.
STEP 6:
Adhere label to card with 3D foam. And voila! You're done.
