When you color a stamped image, first of all, consider using Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® Stamper’s Big Brush Pens! With all the color choices, and the fact that once it’s dry, is waterproof and permanent, you can use it as a base to stamp instead of a regular ink pad. You can even blend colors right on the stamp!
Today, I used Dark Naples Stamper’s Big Brush Pen to stamp an acorn from the stamp company Paper Smooches, followed by using an Art Grip© Aquarelle watercolor pencil (# 117), then some Teal Metallic Gelatos®, and finally, reinforcing my lines with a Pitt® Pastel Pencil (#176).
This video today will prove that you don’t have to stick to coloring your image with one medium. Why not blend india ink, with watercolor, with Gelatos®, and pastels. Mix n’ Match your favorite Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® products to produce colorful and vibrant results! Experiment to your heart’s content and come up with your own creative solutions to achieving the look you want. Have fun getting creative!
