Mixed Media Sampler Card

Hi everyone!  My name is Darlene and I am so excited to be sharing my first guest design team project with you!!  I challenged myself to make a single card using only the colors in the Mixed Media Sampler Pack.  For this card, I used the Red set.

A little close-up so you can see how awesome the metallics look!

Scroll down to see step-by-step photos on how I created this card, or just watch the fast-paced video here:

First, I heat embossed the Penny Black Sundial flower in black.  Next, I applied the metallic Gelato™ in the center of the flower and smeared it outward with my finger.

I used the Stamper’s Big Brush Pen to color the inside of the petals and then blend it outward with my finger.  These pens blend amazingly well on top of the Gelatos™.  I also colored the line on the inside of the flowers with the marker.

With the Metallic PITT® Artist Pen, I outlined the petals.  I colored the center of the flower with the PITT® Pastel Pencil.

Lastly, I colored some clear rhinestones with the Stamper’s Big Brush Pen and adhered them to the middle of the flower.

I drew a line around the outside of a 3.5” x 4.75” piece of white cardstock and colored it with the Stamper’s Big Brush Pen.

Finally, I stamped my sentiment and adhered the flower and cardstock panel with foam mounting stickers.

I love how all these colors worked so well together!  Thanks for visiting my post here.  To see more of my cards and videos, visit my blog.  See you in a few weeks!!  J
