Believe Mixed Media Canvas

Hello crafters!

Limor here. I am super excited to share this canvas with you using a variety of Faber Castell Design Memory Craft Products. A full supply list is provided at the end of this post.

To Begin:

1. Apply 2 coats of Absorbent Ground ( White) to your canvas (8x10) – Dry with heat gun between each coat

2. Using Tangerine Gelato cover the bottom of the container by rubbing Gelato on the surface of container. Apply a ½ pea size drop of Magicals or Mica Powder into your container and add a small amount of water. With the paintbrush in the yellow Gelatos Mix & Match Set mix the mixture in the container. Pour blended mixture into the sprayer.

3. Spray Canvas with mixture and heat set. Apply a mixture of Tangerine and Mango Gelato to the top of the canvas and blend with a little water and the water brush provided ( Heat Set).

4. Using the Teal Gelato, apply gelato all over the bottom of page and blend with paint brush and water or use a baby wipe to create a more weathered look. Using the white Gelato, apply to the top of the page to simulate clouds and blend with your fingertip to create a smoother look on the page.

5. Using the May Green Stamper’s Big Brush Pen draw lines to imitate grass then blend with finger right away to take away stark lines and create a blended effect. Using the metallic Pitt Artist Pen outline some of the grass created and blend with fingertip to create a two toned effect of the grass.

6. Using the Black Stamper’s Big Brush Pen, apply ink all over the leaf stamp and apply to page as shown in picture.

7. Using the Art Grip Aquarelle Watercolor pencil # 168 & 144. Fill in the leaves and use a wet paint brush to blend in the colors.

8. Apply Black Stamper’s Big Brush pen onto the flower stamp and stamp on page as shown. Apply Teal Gelato to stamp and wet with paint brush - stamp on top of black image to create a two toned shadow effect as shown.

9. Rub Lemon and Mango Gelatos on your craft mat and apply enough water to cover the area. Blend colors with a brush then use syringe to pick up mixture and quickly squirt onto page to create a splattered effect.

10. Stamp Bee and Saying using the Black Stamper’s Big Brush pen and apply Lemon Gelato to craft mat, add some water and fill in bee’s body.
