Hi everyone, it's Erin here again. It's no secret that I love doodling. That's one reason why I love the variety of the products Faber-Castell offers. I also love that the PITT® Artist Pens and Stamper’s Big Brush Pens are odorless, archival, tested not to fade for 100+ years and are smudge-proof and waterproof when dry...talk about perfect pens!! Both of these pens are great for doodling.
For this project I was originally going to make some fodder for my art journal, but then by the time I finished doodling I thought it would be cute to frame...so I did!
I started off by scribbling my Orange Glaze #113 Stamper's Big Brush Pen onto my craft mat (you could do it on waxed paper if you don't have a craft mat) and then I added some Acrylic Glazing Liquid to it to transform it into glaze.
I used my heat gun to dry it really quickly and then started to doodle on top of the design with some of the black PITT® Artist Pens and a white Sharpie.
When I was finished I just trimmed it to fit inside a frame from Ikea. Easy peasy. Here's some close ups of how it turned out.
Enter to win some Faber-Castell goodies on my blog this week and also check out the class I will be teaching at True Scrap 4 on art journaling...there's some great techniques I will be teaching with Faber-Castell products!
