An Everyday Card....

Hi there, everyone! Mou Saha here with today's project: a simple everyday card for someone you love...FaberCastellBlogCard1_MouSTo make this card you’ll need:

  1. Gelatos: yellow, orange
  2. Stamper's Big Brush marker: Scarlett Red 118, Warm Grey V 274
  3. Watercolor paper: 4” x 2.5”
  4. Grey patterned paper: 5” x 3.5”
  5. Kraft cardstock: 8.5” x 5.5”, fold in half to make a 5.5” x 4.25” card
  6. Stamp set


Start by rubbing a little yellow and orange gelato to the middle of the watercolor paper. Blend in with water in circular motion. Let dry.FaberCastellBlogCard1Step2_MouS 

Ink the light bulb stamp with Scarlett Red Stamper's Big Brush marker and stamp into the middle of the watercolor paper.

Ink the sentiment ‘You Light Up My Life!’ using Warm Grey and Scarlett Red Stamper's Big Brush markers and stamp below the light bulb.FaberCastellBlogCard1Step4_MouS 

Attach the watercolor paper piece to the middle of Grey patterned paper.FaberCastellBlogCard1Step5_MouS 
 Attach the whole thing to the card front and sew around using a sewing machine to finish the card.  Have a great day!
