Hello, friends! Vivian here today with my second post as a Guest Blogger with Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft. Did you know that yesterday was Make Your Dreams Come True Day? Well, in honor of this meaningful day, I crafted this Art Journaling page along with a coordinatingvideo tutorial in which I share some techniques for creating fluidity in your compositions.
The dreams I have for myself as I approach the big FOUR OH bear no resemblance to the dreams I had for myself growing up - they're not nearly as outrageous, but in some sense, equally difficult to realize.
This tireless performer in our Vegas garden very much encapsulates what I'd like to see for myself artistically this year - the ability to thrive with little coddling, and spiritually - to respond in trying situations the way this one below truly embraces the scorching Vegas sun.
Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft will be pairing up with Creative Imaginations and Xyron for a Christmas blog hop! For the coming days, we will post a Christmas craft on our blog. Don't forget to stop by Xyron and Creative Imaginations for more Christmas inspirations!
Hop with us for some amazing prizes! Today, we'll be giving away our Metallic PITT® Artist Pens! To enter, follow us at @DesignMemCraft and tweet us what you liked about this craft.
Want a bigger prize? Just leave a comment on our blog hop posts (we'll release them over the next two weeks). Our favorite commenter will win a $100 prize pack!
Hi everyone, Mou here! Here's my journal spread for breast cancer awareness month. While my color scheme is mainly pink, my message is not directly conncted to the occasion. However, I find it empowering! Hope you do too!
Hi, it’s Jill here with three stamped tags to share. I just love making Christmas tags and in creating this trio of tags, I experimented with some new techniques. I took some photos along the way so let’s get started!
Hi everyone! My name is Darlene and I am so excited to be sharing my first guest design team project with you!! I challenged myself to make a single card using only the colors in the Mixed Media Sampler Pack. For this card, I used the Red set.
I had the chance to work with The NEW Stamper's Big White Pen! I knew it would look amazing on a black background so I painted black gesso over a piece of mixed media paper and when it dried, I drew on it with the Big Brush White pen and the white Art Grip Color Pencil.
Hi everyone, Mou here with a second round of pages from recent art journal that I started on the road. The great thing about working on this journal while on the road is it's true-to-the-moment authenticity... I'm copying from nature, capturing a snapshot of something unusual right before my eyes... there's something very raw about it! No manipulation of camera settings, no photoshop editing, just a study of what I don't see in my everyday surroundings. No pretty papers, no fancy embellishments, just a little bit of white space for me to claim anyway I can. Even more authentic because I have proof that I was there that day... that National Park stamp that people use on their National Park passports... I used them to stamp my journal.
Hi everyone! It's Jill here with a project using Stamper's Big Brush Pens.
Step One: Color directly onto a stamp with lot of solid area using Stamper's Big Brush Pens. Mix and match different colors to add depth to your project. Stamp onto white cardstock.
Hi folks! It's Jill here and let me tell you, I don't know about everyone else, but this hot summer has me dreaming of crisp fall weather and the beautiful colors of the changing leaves. This card is a reflection of my recent fall weather dreams:
Art GRIP® Color Pencils (109, 115, 126, 167) were used to color the pumpkins. And the blue background was created with one of my favorite Gelato™ techniques--emboss resist. Begin by stamping your image with VersaMark ink onto white paper, sprinkle with white embossing powder, and heat to set. Color directly onto the paper and over the embossing with Cotton Candy Gelato™. Work in small sections, blending with your finger as you go.
MIX & MATCH from Faber-Castell makes designing with COLOR simple. Choose a color set that inspires you. Choose a medium. Mix & Match as you create. Color coordinated palettes give you the freedom to design your project knowing the colors & mediums will work beautifully together.
