Mixed Media Fairy on Wood by Sylwia Gryczuk

DSC_3298

Hello Arty Souls! Sylwia (TandiArt) here with my first project as a Guest Designer:) I am so excited to be here, as products of  Faber Castel Design Memory Craft® are just 'must have' for every artist and crafter:)

So for this first project I decided to make my favourite Fairy-Girl. She was inspired by my little babygirl, whose afro-hair is just unmanageable :D

I wanted to show you how to work with Faber- Castell Design Memory Craft ® Gelatos® and Chalk Board Paint on row wood. They all work great on this surface! Creamy consistency of Gelatos makes it very easy to spread them even  on unprimed wood.

I have also video tutorial for you:

Firstly I applied a Black Chalk Board Paint with a brush.

Then I added Pistaccio, Orange Soda, Limoncello and Passion Fruit Gelatos® from Mix and Match Set Gelatos® Designer Colors- BALI

I also used  Gelatos® with Stencils set 201

To add more dimension to my piece, I added Texture Gems™ Ice
