Hey there artsy peeps Rita Barakat here! Surely by now you have seen the new stencils from Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft®. They are thick paper that you can use over and over and then when you get them full of creative overflow (AKA remnants of your other projects) you can cut or tear pieces for your mixed media projects!
Hello everyone it's kimberly N here today to share a Mixed Media journal page I created with some of my favorite Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft products .
Hi crafty friends! It's Lisa here with you sharing a card that I think is really awesome! (Yes, I'm biased, of course.) I am over the moon with how it turned out. So fun creating the pieces and putting it all together. Let me show you how!
Hi everyone! It's Laurel Beard here today with my first post as a Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® Guest Designer! ACK! I am over the moon excited about guesting here! There are no words to explain my joy! If you know me at all, you know I love Gelatos® and coffee! So, I thought for my first project as a Guest Design Team member, I would create a funny coffee card full of texture using various products from the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® line. All the products are "Mix & Match", which means they are designed to work together!!!!! Actually, their tagline is "mix mediums with matching color palettes to creative with confidence." And it's true. Today's cards features: Gelatos®, Stamper's Big Brush Pens and Whipped Spackle. All the exact supplies I used are listed at the end of this post.
Hello there! Do you have a dream you have long thought about and not yet found the courage to grasp it? It's Riikka here to share the story of my first tattoo together with my second guest project!
Even as a young child I thought tattoos were beautiful and intriguing. They had a world of their own, their own secrets and codes. As a child I used to draw myself tattoos with a felt pen (to my mom's disliking) and really thought where and what kind of tattoo I'd like to have. Years went by and the dream stayed, but I didn't have the crystallized idea what and where. Then my husband took his tattoo and slowly but surely the gears in my head started to turn. I took inspiration of out of his tattoo and designed something of my own. After some time to really get the courage I presented my idea to the same tattooer my husband had used and we set a date and I got my first tattoo. It went oh so brilliantly that just a few weeks later I reserved a time for my second tattoo and now I'm happy with them both!
I used a very graphic background as my tattoo is actually very graphic but then added softening touches with Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® products. I created the background using Gelatos® a few ways and also added touches with Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils. The contrasting details like the black stamping and the little doodled details are made with India ink products - Stamper's Big Brush Pen and PITT® Artist Pens. Underneath is a video showing how I made the layout, I hope you enjoy!

I chose to go with a red and yellow palette and it was really easy to follow that through out the different mediums because the "Mix & Match": you can choose a color set and know that following the same set, everything will work beautifully together!
Thank you for stopping by today! Until next time!
