New Bird & Winter Trees

Winterbird24 (2)

Hello my crafty friends! Linsey here today sharing my last guest designer post for this incredible company Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft®. I've enjoyed my time with you all so very much and thank you for the amazing experience! Now, on to my project! I was inspired by a children's construction paper craft I saw on the internet 2 years ago and decided this was the perfect occasion to finally try it myself.  My translation is this 9x11 mixed media canvas panel that definitely cured my early winter blues!

I really loved creating this one and here's how it came together. I started by laying down 6 shades of Gelatos® on watercolor paper then spritzed with water and blended with my fingers. This will be the bird.

Minimalist Valentine Card

LisaAdametz-MinimalistHeart-1

Hey everyone, Lisa with you today and I have a fun minimalist mixed media Valentine card to share.  Most people tend to think that with mixed media it's all about tons and tons of layers, right? Well, with this card I really wanted to try to try to keep it as simple as possible BUT also showcase some of our amazing products without making the card super thick. This card isn't hard to make at all and is FLAT! So no extra postage!! Woohoo!

Hi Everyone! It's Limor Webber here with a quick project share ;).

Can you guess the only medium that I used to create this canvas board?

If you said Gelatos® then you are correct!

I used nothing but Gelatos to create this piece as I wanted to challenge myself.  I find myself always trying to add more instead of using the mediums I have so I set out to create this piece just with Gelatos.

Black and White Art Journal Page

Black and white dog

Hi everyone! I can't believe this is my final blog post. I've had loads of fun with Faber-Castell® Design Memory Craft® and hope you've been inspired to make lots of art as a result. Recently, I've been doing a lot of creating in my black and white journal. Working in two colors (well, three since I use grey) can either be a bit of a challenge or refreshingly simple.

Chalkboard Valentines

Hi! Dana Tatar here today sharing a set of chalkboard valentines. I started this project with a set of wood veneer hearts and used Chalkboard Paint, a Stamper's Big Brush Pen and PITT®Artist Pens to add color. I added dimensional metallic accents with the NEW Texture Gems. These valentines are quick and easy to create and fun to personalize!
