Count Your Rainbows
Hello, Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Friends! Stacey here. I got a little "artsy" with a watercoloring technique using Gelatos®!
To create a card background with a rainbow effect, I selected Red Cherry, Mango, Banana, Green Tea, Boysenberry, and Grape Gelatos®
....just remember rainbow order is ROY-G-BIV!
I colored the Red Cherry Gelatos®
on my craft mat, spritzed with water to activate the color and painted it over watercolor paper with swift and long horizontal strokes.
After repeating the "color, spritz, paint" technique with all of the colors, this is what my rainbow background looks like! LOVE!
Here's another peek at the finished card! The Reverse Confetti Count Your Rainbows sentiment was inked up with Black Stamper's Big Brush. The tag/flag combination in the upper left corner is a Reverse Confetti Cuts Tag Me, then embellished with a jumbo button and The Twinery's Charcoal Baker's Twine.
Thanks so much for stopping by the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft®
Blog today! I hope you are inspired to create a rainbow of your own!
DELIGHTFUL card Stacey!!!

I am!!! I've been wanting to make a watercolor rainbow based card for a LONG time now...not sure what the hold up is but today I've prepped some regular white card stock with Gesso since I don't have watercolor paper and I'm going to try your technique with my Gelatos on the cardstock and see what happens :) Thanks for the great inspiration today Stacey!
