Mixed Media Journal with Metallic Gelatos

Hello to everyone, Mieko here sharing with you a project using Metallic Gelatos® Colors & Clear Stamp. It’s my last post as a member of the Design Memory Craft®  Guest Design Team. I have loved being on this team and I am so grateful to have had the opportunity!

I colored with the Lemon Double Scoop Gelatos first on my board and used a bit of water with my finger to blend.

I rubbed Metallic Gelatos® in with my dot dabber using an alphabet stencil.

I shaved a bit of Gelatos and mixed it into the Whipped Spackle. I spread it over the stencil using a Stipple Brush. Love the beautiful mint metallic color.

I stamped a Clear Stamp using a Stamper’s Big Brush Pen. The clear stamp from Metallic Gelatos Set is so cute image.

I colored a piece of white paper using Metallic Gelatos® and Lemon Double Scoop Gelatos with a Deluxe Waterbrush. Stamper’s Big Brush Pen is waterproof and archival so the images stay bright.

I hope you enjoy my creations. I appreciate all of your comments and support over the past 9 months.

Thanks so much for stopping by the Design Memory Craft Blog today.

Dear Jen, Our son is an astrophysicist. I will absolutely love making something like this for him. I am not nearly as talented as you are, so there will be a few (many) changes, but I know it will make him smile. Thank you. Dee

Lisa, your tag is awesome! I love, love, love the beautiful colors and textures you chose, as well as the way you put them together. I opened an email today from Faber-Castell about the Ustream Class on Wed., May 27, 2015. I watched the DIY All Occasion Party Banner and made a comment to be entered in the giveaway. The demonstrator (I couldn't find her name anywhere) said that if we comment on the blog we have a chance at winning the grand prize. I couldn't find a link to your blog anywhere on the Ustream page. I went to Faber-Castell website and couldn't find anywhere to write a comment. I went through the Ustream video several times to find out how to get to the page where I was to leave a comment. FINALLY, I discovered that Faber-Castell has a blog. I've looked throughout this blog and couldn't find a place to leave a comment about joining you for the Ustream class on May 27th. When I browsed through the site, the sections are not dated so I had to keep searching. At last I settled on writing to you here on your texture tag demo. Where should I leave a comment to register for the grand prize? Thank you!
