Sketchbook Project 2014

Page11

Jen here with another peek into my Sketchbook Project journal!  I wanted to show you the inside front page today.  I wanted to see some journaling through the window in the front cover.  I decided to journal in a "circle" since that was the overarching theme of my journal (I have a love of circles...).

Here is a view through the window...

To create the shapes, I used cut out circles (using scrap photo paper to mask the shape) and chipboard letters while scribbling with a PITT® Artist Pen while the masks are in place.  When I removed them, there was a white shape left!  Easy and fun technique...

Letter stamps were used to add journaling with a Stamper's Big Brush Pen in black in a circle.

Finally, I added Gold Champagne Gelatos® color and Art GRIP Aquarelle Gold pencil that was watered down over the words and flicked on other areas of the page for a bit of sparkle and drama!

Supply List:

Art GRIP Aquarelle Yellow (#770111)

Gold Champagne Gelatos® color

PITT® Artist Pen in Black
