Beach fun and watercolors - a match made in heaven

Magic is in the Air!

Jen Matott here to share a page with you! My son has always been fascinated with the idea of magic.. when he was around 3 years old, he would think that he could make water disappear!  It was one hot day playing in the sprinkler when he thought he could do a little magic.  He grabbed some water from the sprinkler and would open his hand as if he did a magic trick!  So cute!

I created this page on a cardboard piece and added some Textural Accents Whipped Spackle through a stencil.  When it was dry, I used Gel Medium over part of the page and punched colored vellum circles and sprinkled them over the Gel Medium.  Since the vellum tends to curl when damp, I brushed Gel Medium over top and allowed to dry.  They are stuck on and create a really fun confetti effect!

So embellish your celebration pages by applying some confetti with Textural Accents Gel Medium!  It works as an adhesive and dries matte so there will be little evidence of it on the page!  It's a fun way to add color and little shapes on the page!
