$5 Gift Series: Bracelet Cuffs

A challenge was issued to create a gift item for $5 or under!  I can't turn down a good challenge so I dug up items that I already had:  scraps of canvas, stamps, beads, and a bit of lace.  The result was a pair of artistic bracelet cuffs.  One for me to keep and one to give!  That's a win-win gift if you ask me!

I used all items I had on hand. I colored the canvas scraps with Gelatos and stamped images/ text with a Stamper's Big Brush pen in black.  I added some modeling paste through a stencil too for texture. I had scraps of lace and sequin ribbon and added them to the edges by first gluing them on and then stitching them with my sewing machine.

The only thing I purchased was some velcro strips and felt to back the cuff bracelet.  So, the cost was $2.89!

These are so cute and super fun to make!  You can use anything you have on hand and personalize them for the recipient.  These would make wonderful gifts for tweens to adults! Happy Holidays!

Love this one-and I can see personalizing for special people. Thank you for the great inspiration.

These cuff bracelets are so cool, I love them! What a great present, your recipient is going to be thrilled. Very neat project and I love your artistic skills - each bracelet varies so much. Thanks for sharing.
