Using Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Textural Accents Gesso mixed with a little bit of Gel Medium to give more body to the gesso, I used it with a palette knife through a stencil. I dried it with a heat gun which gave it a bit of a textured look by holding the heat over sections longer. Once it was completely dry, I used Blood Orange & Snow Cone Gelatos over some areas.
Lots of layers of embellishments make this layout elegant and full of artistic details. The stunning photo of a young dancer was taken by one of my talented friends, Nicole Hiltbrand of NicoleJames Photography.
I stamped the floral images with a black Stamper's Big Brush Pen. It gives an intense black design. The image is crisp and permenant using the India Ink pen.
I love the way the Textural Accents add some depth and fun ways to integrate design into layouts.
