Sunshine & Shadows - A Video tutorial using Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils
Hello and welcome to my first post as a Guest Designer on the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft blog. I'm so very honored and excited (and just a little nervous and in awe!) to be sharing my work here.
The first project I have to share uses several products from the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft range but the main focus will be using Art GRIP® Aquarelle Watercolor Pencils.
I received the Neutral color collection in my Guest Design team pack and to begin with was hesitant about using these, only because my first choice when I get creative is to reach for bold bright colors.
To begin with, I chose the photo below of my daughter to scrap. Its tones were quite neutral and I found as I went through my creative process there was no need to have worried about the neutral colors. The color dot system really did make things quite easy. As long as I chose other products from the same color family, they all matched together perfectly.
As you watch the video below you will see that my design inspiration stems from the brickwall in the photograph. I hope you find something here that sparks your creativity.
