For today's hop I created a card with Gelato colored flowers as embellishments to a simple card base.
To recreate this card:
Start by making a card base that measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" from kraft cardstock. Emboss cream cardstock and cut into a rectangle that measures 3 3/4" x 4 1/2". Drag the banana colored Gelato from the 50's Diner collection around outside edge of cream cardstock, blend with finger tip and mat onto glitter cardstcock. Adhere piece to the face of card.
Now you are ready to create your flowers and embellish your card with them and beautiful May Arts ribbon.
To create flowers, die cut and assemble 3 spiral flowers from book print paper (the die I used to create these flowers is Spellbinder's Spiral Blossom One). Use the banana Gelato to color around the edge of your flowers as pictured.
Next, create mist by mixing a slice of a chocolate Gelato with warm water in a mister bottle.
Repeat with other desired colors. I also created a mist with my blood orange Gelato.
Add a layer of Glaze over flowers and allow to dry.
