Stamping with Gelatos & Penny Black Inc.'s Slapstick

Hello Faber-Castell's Friends! alexandra here today, to talk to you about stamping with Gelatos using Penny Black Inc's slaptick/cling stamps.

The slapstick/Cling stamp used is: Indian Wheel #40-202

I started by "painting" directly onto the slapstick stamp with my various shades of pink/orange Gelatos. Then I sprayed a little bit of water onto the stamp and stamped the Indian Wheel pattern on a large sheet of watercolor paper.
Stamping with Gelatos is not only easy but it also looks quite "artsy". I even like the fact that the result is not completely even. It creates instant depth...
Once dry, I trimmed my paper and scored it to make the cover for a mini album. I decorated the front cover, added inside pages and used twine to bind it all together.
Here is a look at the mini, all finished and ready to bear pictures of a summer in the Windy City...
I had used another slapstick/Cling stamp from Penny Black Inc. to stamp with Gelatos to make a larger album. To view that second take, please click HERE.

Thank You!
