Creativity for Kids and Mother's Day
It's that time of year that all mothers love... a day to celebrate us (aka Mother's Day)! We work hard but it has lots of rewards when we see our children being kind, doing creative things and showing independence. All the things we try to teach them in order to be productive citizens. I was thrilled when I got this kit to create alongside my kids.
What's Creativity for Kids? Creativity for Kids is our sister brand, specializing in activity products for children. We thought we'd pair up with them for Mother's Day because our products marry perfectly well with each other.
We tore into the package and the kids had ideas right away! There are so many pieces included in this set that you could make lots of projects with it!
Our first project was making spinning "helicopters"... my oldest was set on this task. He started picking out pieces and beads. I got my Crop-a-Dile out and punched holes in the wood pieces easily. We threaded them on sticks and pipecleaners. They were super happy with this!
Now onto coloring the pieces. We used Gelatos because they are very kid friendly and fun! Then we also drew on them with PITT Journaling pens! This was about all they could sit and do... then they were off to something else! Well, at least we completed a couple projects with the kit.
Here are some of our finished projects. I tried to get them to hold them up for me but they were too busy playing another game. It was tons of fun to create with this kit and I know we will save the rest of the pieces for a rainy day this summer and create more art!
