Techniques with PITT Pastel Pencils
Hello, friends! Vivian here with my third tutorial as a Guest Designer here on the blog. I've been having so much fun with you and am thrilled about all the new connections we've been able to make with each other!
Today I have a video tutorial focusing exclusively on our PITT Pastel Pencils. In it, there are a lot of tips to share for papercrafters and budding artists. And even then, we really will just touch the tip of all the myriad possibilities with this medium.
Here's a shot of a pastel painting that I share in the latter portion of the video.
My beautiful 7 pound rat dog rescue/miracle is the lovely model haha!
And here's a link to the video tutorial, an introduction to pastels!
***Supply list in description box under the video.
If you're interested, I have more details on getting started with drawing and honing your observational skills on my blog today.
Vivian
is a papercrafter, mixed media artist, enthusiastic student of
watercolor, and produced writer. Outside of these passions, she enjoys
just hangin' with her husband, frolicking with her dogs, and all things
which keep her present, including occasional pretty drinks. You can
find her at several locales in the ether - her blog, youtube, facebook, twitter, and pinterest.

Thanks so much Vivian both for your easy to follow tutorial and for rescuing that sweet baby!!! She is precious and as for drawing, I've never done it but I may have to give it a try now that I know about the grid technique...
