Create a Textured Background with Things Around Your Home

Hello, Yvonne here!

I love to create with found and upcycled stuff. They add interesting textures to your projects.

Start by gathering found stuff you want to include on your layout. Assemble and adhere them to the base. The pieces don’t have to match but combine elements of different textures for greater interest.    Use a gesso spray to unify the elements. You may need 2 -3 coats.

Create a mist spray with Gelato® Color in Boysenberry and mist over background.

Add photos, stickers and rub-ons and you are all done.
