January 'Take the Challenge' Winners!
Our challenge for January:
Document your creative resolution(s) for 2013 in some form of art.
Every new year, many of us resolve to do certain things, set up goals, make plans, make lists, and such. My creative resolutions for 2013 are to try new things, to try to think outside the box, to stretch beyond my comfort zone, to look for creative possibilities, and also to expand my creative connections by attending crops and shows and events, teaching and taking classes, making new creative friends, and more.
Danie May's resolution: "Creatively this year I want to have more POSITIVE experiences undertaking more courses, trying new things as well as being less critical and more positive about my own work. I want more PATIENCE when it comes to creating, and not try and have everything finished in a day, but to allow time for my creations to dry naturally, giving time to reflect on what may need more attention, to be added etc and lastlyPERSISTENT in all activities I undertake, and trying to create regularly and routinely."
Meihsia Liu's resolution: " My creative resolutions for 2013 is keeping dreaming and creating
more mixed media art works reflecting my life and thoughts."
