Festive Tags
Hello! Miae here to share some tags I’ve made for the upcoming holidays. They were simple to make with the help of my Faber Castell Design Memory Craft products. And I can use them to jazz up my gift wrapping.
I knew I wanted to make several tags at once so I worked with a good sized canvas sheet.
To prep and cover up the whole canvas quickly with color, I mixed Gelatos® with clear gesso.
I simply mixed directly onto my craft sheet with Gelatos® and clear gesso (no water).
Here’s the covered canvas.
I also used some Stamper’s Big Brush Pens along the edge of the canvas for variation and a bolder color.
Next I cut out my tags.
And then I used my Big Brush Pens to layer stamped images. I also used the Stamper’s Big White Pen to draw snow!
To finish off the tag, I did a bit of stitching, and added my trees. I covered some cardstock in foil tape (you can get it from a hardware store) and embossed using my Cuttlebug. Then I cut out triangles, layered, and topped them off with a bit of Snow Writer texturizing paste. Lastly I wrote my sentiment on Vellum using the Essential Pitt® Artist Pens.
Hope you enjoyed this post!

Miae Rowe Sometime ago I discovered this thing called scrapbooking and it's fair to say I'm an addict! I love color, I love texture, I love putting all that together! Life with my Aussie husband and our 2 daughters is full of plenty of adventures for me to photograph and get creative with...fodder for the fuel!

The tags are fabulous! I'll have to try that technique.
