It’s All About the Details Layout
Hi everyone!
Miae here to share with you a layout! I thought it would be nice to show some of the many ways I use Faber Castell® Design Memory Craft products to make or alter elements on my page. It can be the little details of a scrap page that personalizes it.
To make the stars I layered strips of masking tape on cardstock, wrinkling as I went. Then I covered the tape with gesso.
Next I used Gelatos® from the Red collection to color. I mixed and blended the colors with my fingers and a paintbrush.
Lastly I punched out the stars to get my customized elements.
Once I placed the stars on the layout I outlined some of them with the new Stamper’s Big White pen and Essential Pitt® pen.
I altered my title banner with my Art Grip® Aquarelle Watercolor pencil and an Essential Pitt® Artist pen. I shaded the corners with the pencil and wet paintbrush then outlined the banner with the pen. Love that watercolor effect!
As for the pennants, I mixed a bit of my Metallic Gelato® and water and used a dropper to get the droplet detail.

For the background, I altered it with the Essential Pitt® Artist pen, the Art Grip® Aquarelle Watercolor pencil and some gesso. First I watered down the gesso and randomly flicked over the page. Next I used a stencil and the Essential Pitt® Artist pen for the alphas. Lastly, I created some darker blue shading detail with the Art Grip® Aquarelle Watercolor pencil and water brush.
Those are just some of so many ways we can use Faber Castell ® Design Memory Craft products to create unique details. What are some of your favorite ways?

Miae Rowe Sometime ago I discovered this thing called scrapbooking and it's fair to say I'm an addict! I love color, I love texture, I love putting all that together! Life with my Aussie husband and our 2 daughters is full of plenty of adventures for me to photograph and get creative with...fodder for the fuel!

Just amazing details! You're so artistic!

I love everything you did! - The stenciling and coloring the background, the great idea for the stars (with tape) and your outlining - they add a punch of color, your outlining around your title and the photo, and your water-coloring. Really wonderful layout! Thanks for sharing.
