"Happy Holidays" Christmas Tree
Welcome to another day of some Christmas Projects Ideas!
I recently renovated my house in a shabby chic style and I wanted to save some money this time and create my own Christmas decorations for my home and this is when I got inspired.
- Using the “new” Tim Holtz Snowflakes die, cut out a strip of the snowflakes and color the edges with the Teal Gelato from the Mix & Match Metallic Gelatos and rub with your finger to create a smudged effect
2. With any scrap paper that you have in your stash, create a cone shape and ensure it’s well glued together so it doesn’t come apart while you are creating.
3. From your stash grab any flowers of your choice or if you are a flower maker then you can make this tree using your own hand made flowers. Start applying flowers all around your cone as the photo below. I used Iamroses flowers ( R77).
4. Using glossy accents or any other glue of choice apply some glue randomly on the tree then add some fine glitter to give the tree and nice shimmery look.
5. Take your Teal Metallic Gelato and rub all over a small container, you can even take a small craft knife and carefully shave a little off the tip. Add some water and start blending with a brush until all the chunks have been dissolved. You are now ready to pour it into a mini mister and spray your tree.
6. Using stamp of choice take your Dark Indigo Stamper’s Big Brush pen and apply to stamp as shown. Create a banner edge with your scissors and apply to the tree as shown on photo. You are now free to decorate your tree with your style. I put my start on the top and added some ribbon and a little piece of bling to bring out the Shabby Chic look.

Love the tree, Limor! It's so soft and peaceful looking. The teal gelato and big brush pen were a perfect choice for this project. Have a wonderful holiday!

This is absolutely beautiful. I have been looking for care package ideas to send to my mother who lives across the country. Unfortunately, I can't be there for her during the holiday, and I wanted to make her something, so she can feel like I am there in spirit. I think this would melt her heart. Thank you for the inspiration.
