Creative Tips with Rita

   Rita13
Hey there bloggers, Rita Barakat here!  More fun with Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft®
Creative Imaginations and Xyron!

Tip #1 - when you are going to use a lot of alphas for words and even paragraphs cut strips of paper to line them up! Even better if you use the same paper as the background, which is what I did here! I do them in sentence strips - that works great especially since you can cut words and move them if they don't quite fit!

Tip #2 Use A Xyron Create a Sticker maker to add adhesive on the back of small items, like the strips!

Tip #3 Use an oval Existencil as a template for a semi circle!

Tip #4 A different way to use your stencils is outlining them with a PITT® Artist Pen  and then coloring the space with Twinkling H2o's!

Tip #5 When you have these canvas with exposed staples on the sides use strips of paper to cover them. (Cotton Candy Gelato™)

Tip #6 Use (Green Tea) Gelatos™ and a dry sponge to fill in color on the edges.

Tip #7 Use layers of the same item (little trees) to create dimension!
All of these tips combined make for a great little canvas project!

Thanks for the tips. I'm finding out about so many products that I've not heard about before and my mind is buzzing. Have to keep adding to my list of things to look for at the stores.

What a great idea Rita! Thanks!

Lots of great tips--thanks!

Awesome canvas! Thanks for the tips. Another idea for adding letters is to line up the bottom of the letters on a piece of sticker backing. Press the top on your project then remove the sticker paper.

Love those trees! And that color gelato (green tea). Thanks for the tips and Thanks for sharing.

    Congratulations Patty :)
FABULOUS cover & 1st page Jen!!!
I have participated in what we called a "Circle Journal" over here in Australia (they were actually small scrapbooks, 8x8 and 6x11) and it was FUN, we each set our themes and posted our journals off, then had a few weeks to get our entries done & posted off. Because "life" can get in the way, we had a monthly turn-around, so it took nearly a year and we all ended up with lots of special pages. For me, it was lovely to have work created by others to admire and enjoy, HIGHLY recommend it to you all to try, just remember to take lots of photos and ensure secure postage.
