Christmas gift box

Gift box

During the days leading up to Christmas, there's nothing better than seeing brightly colored boxes sitting underneath a Christmas tree.  Instead of investing in something that's going to be torn to shreds on Christmas day, why not make this paper mache box that can be used for storing afterwards?

Gift box2

Here's how to make it:

1.  Cover a paper mache’ box useing a xyron glue stick and creative imaginations, Christine Adolph silver foil printed papers.

2.  Use Design Memory Craft gelato colors to tint the white background with the foam blending tool and water.

3.  Add clear rhinestones, a lace trim and lace bow for holiday sparkle.

Love these little boxes, and you have created a beautiful treasure! Thanks for sharing :)

So pretty. A gift in itself!

Love the box top with the gems and ribbon. This would make a nice birthday present as well to store jewelry maybe, you gave me lots of ideas. Thanks for sharing.

So *THAT* is what you are supposed to use that large inner well of the palette for!! I have one just like that that I use all the time, but thought that big well in the middle was rather impractical. Ha!
Very sweet project. Who knew you could work such magic with Gelatos and Glaze!!!

HOw fun and cute and artsy--just like the sweet gal who made em!!! I LOVE this idea Tiffany! I'm just now starting to expand with my Gelatos and I'm finding that they are work SO well with, well...like everything!!! Still, I hadn't thought of this creative way to use them yet! I can't think of a store bought embellishment that could beat a homemade one and I can't wait to pull out my very neglected sticker frames and such and start making some of my very own! Thanks for your always amazing inspiration!!! :D
